Caravanserai

Three stones graduating from the blue hour sky into deep purple night, the pale moonstone below catching the first light of the moon. Caravanserais were the rest houses that lined the Silk Road, sheltering traders and their caravans through the desert night, a place to stop under a sky exactly this colour before moving on at dawn.
